Did you know that the Emmanuel Prophecy was fulfilled long before the birth of Jesus? How can we confirm it? Many understand the meaning of Emmanuel, “GOD is with us" but what is the context? To whom does “us” actually refer? Is it safe to assume that using the word “us” automatically means all of humanity? We will explore how the New Testament injects its doctrinal narrative to claim fulfillment while deviating from the original Old Testament Prophecy. Together, we will examine the Truth and see how some ignore facts and historical evidence to maintain their false doctrines.
You may wonder why I posted this topic after their Christmas season. It is intentional because I want people to see how many avoid the Truth to keep their false doctrine, as discussed in earlier Avoidance Strategy 1 , Avoidance Strategy 2 , and Avoidance Strategy 3 posts. Aside from that, you may observe the behavior of those evil people who defend the false doctrine doing character assassination and brainwashing people to avoid me and other whistleblowers, reflected in this list of Their Evil Ways. I’m not talking hypothetical, but these are my experiences as a whistleblower. Even after reading this post, many avoid reading and ignore the Truth that this post is sharing to continue their self-denial as their way to keep their false doctrine. Let us start under the Catechism of Roman Catholic doctrine.

Matthew 1:23
Notice above that they’ve mixed Messiah with the child Emmanuel, i.e., referring to the same person. However, the original prophecy refers to a different person. Below is the Original Emmanuel Prophecy:
Isaiah 7:14 (JPS 1985 Hebrew)
Isaiah 7:14 (JPS 1985 English)
The Hebrew name עִמָּ֥נוּ אֵֽל from the original prophecy starts with the letter Ayin (ע) and is generally transliterated as “A,” which can sometimes rendered as “I.” So, we can use Immanuel or Emmanuel to refer to the name. I also highlighted the word virgin and the young woman (הָעַלְמָה) and later we will discuss its importance.
Now, let us understand the context. What does “GOD is with us” refer to? To understand, let us know the story. At the time of the prophet Isaiah, Israel was divided into two kingdoms.
King Pekah wanted to conquer the Kingdom of Judah (i.e., against King Ahaz), so King Pekah joined forces with King Rezin. Learning from this plot, King Ahaz in Jerusalem was afraid and he also displeased GOD, as reflected in 2 Kings 16 1-2. Since GOD promised the protection of the bloodline of King David in Jerusalem, GOD send Isaiah to share the message of GOD:
Isaiah 7:10-17 (JPS 1985 English)
Isaiah assured King Ahaz that GOD would provide him with a sign confirming the defeat of their enemies, specifically the two kings, King Pekah and King Rezin. What is this sign? The child named Emmanuel is the sign. When will the enemies be destroyed? When the lad (referring to the child Emmanuel) knows to reject the bad and choose the good. It means Emmanuel was born during the time of the prophet Isaiah, i.e., during the Assyrian Period. Below is the scripture showing that the Northern Kingdom, represented by Ephraim, was destroyed and reflects that GOD is with King Ahaz of Jerusalem and the people of Judah.
Isaiah 7:3-9
The Assyrian Empire conquered the Northern Kingdom around 721 BCE. Jesus was born during the Roman Period, i.e., 721 years after the Assyrian Empire. It is unlikely that King Ahaz, King Pekah, and King Rezin will wait 721 years before they attack each other to fulfill the Prophecy that Emmanuel is Jesus. The Prophecy was fulfilled even before the birth of Jesus, so their claim that Jesus is the one who will fulfill the Emmanuel Prophecy of Isaiah is a fallacy. They injected their doctrine to claim that Jesus is the Messiah and intertwined Messiah with the Emmanuel. Emmanuel cannot be born from a virgin because he was born during the Assyrian Period, an example of how they inject their doctrine and change the context of the Prophecy to divert it to Jesus. It is very clear that Jesus did not live during the Assyrian Period, and Emmanuel was not born from a virgin. Messiah is a different person and does not refer to Emmanuel. More info showing the destruction of the Northern Kingdom includes 2 Kings 15:29 and 2 Kings 17:6. Another thing is that during the Assyrian Period, two prophets were involved: Hoseah (Northern Kingdom) and Isaiah (Southern Kingdom). The name of the children of the Prophet Hosea married to a prostitute, depicts a negative connotation of the Northern Kingdom (Jezreel meaning “God sows” or “God will scatter,” Lo-Ruhamah meaning “No mercy” or “Not loved,” and Lo-Ammi meaning “Not my people.”) which contrast the Prophet Isaiah married to a prophetess and had a son name Emmanuel, meaning “GOD is with us” and Maher-shalal-hash-baz meaning “Speedily to the spoil” depecting a positive connotation to the Southern Kingdom. Yes, Emmanuel is the son of Prophet Isaiah:
Isaiah 8:18
If their doctrine claims Jesus is the Emmanuel as a new prophecy not related to the prophet Isaiah, then it is a different situation. The “GOD is with us" in the Old Testament (The Emmanuel Prophecy) addresses King Ahaz and the people of Judah, which differs from what their doctrine claims in that it addresses the whole of humanity. It is because they want to inject Jesus into the prophecy that was already fulfilled even before Jesus was born. Their doctrine refers to the Emmanuel Prophecy of Isaiah in the Old Testament, claiming that Jesus fulfills it, contrary to the Truth, i.e., Jesus is not the Emmanuel because the prophecy was already fulfilled long before Jesus was born (repeated highlighting it). In short, their doctrine overrides or hijacks a prophecy already fulfilled by someone whose identity is not Jesus, so Jesus has no role in it. In my book, I called this approach Pick and Inject, where they pick verses and inject their doctrine to make man a GOD without checking if it violates the Nature of GOD by formulating their paradigm where they put the Nature of GOD below their narrative and doctrines. See details in The Right Paradigm of Faith and The Wrong Paradigm of Faith posts.
If you do not seek the Truth and blindly accept what their doctrine feeds you, then you are on the wrong side. We must seek the Truth. The Truth is that Jesus is not the Emmanuel as they claim, and Emmanuel is not the Messiah. He is not even born from a virgin, which will be for future posts. Jesus does not fit into the timeline of the Emmanuel. For details, feel free to read Chapter 2.4 Messiah is not the Immanuel of the Save Our Souls free book. May GOD bless you for reading this post. It is my good intention to save you from the false doctrine. Metaphorically speaking, you have the Free Will to avoid heliocentrism, diameter, radius, and circumference and pretend not to understand or avoid them to keep your stand for a flat world. We must learn the lessons from the past, not close our minds, and conduct checks and balances to see the Truth, and (the most challenging part for others) accept the Truth about the fallacy of their doctrine.
May GOD bless you for reading, understanding, and accepting the Truth this post reflect.
